Entitling a Desktop or Pool
Onceadesktopordesktoppoolhasbeencreated,youcanentitleActiveDirectoryusers
orgroupstoaccessit.
To entitle a desktop to an Active Directory user or group
1FromwithinViewAdministrator,clicktheDesktopsandPoolsbuttonandthen
clicktheGlobaldesktopandpoolviewentryundertheInventorytab.Choosethe
desktoporpoolyouwant
toentitlefromtheGlobaldesktopandpoolviewpane.
2ClickEntitlements.YouarepresentedwiththeEntitlementswindowwhichlists
theusersandgroupswhocanusethisdesktoporpool.ClickAdd.
3Theuserandgroupentitlementwindowisdisplayed.Fromhereyouview,search
on,andfilter
allActiveDirectoryuserswithinthedomainforest.
4InType,selectUsers,Groups,orboth.
5FromtheDomaindrop‐downmenu,choosethedomainthatcontainstheusersor
groupsyouwanttoentitle,orselectEntireDirectorytosearchacrosstheentire
ActiveDirectorydomainforest.
6Usingthefields
provided,youcansearchbynameordescription.ClickFindto
executethesearch.
